Desert Bloom LLC was created to educate the public on urgent social issues, offer opportunities for healing to individuals and communities, increase effectiveness of existing support systems and work towards liberation for all people. 

Ricki Bloom is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Unceded Tiwa Territory. She has 15+ years experience working in social services including as a case manager, psycho-social rehab provider, program manager, consultant, individual and group therapist. She creates group curriculum and has provided extensive training to agencies and community members. She utilizes a unique combination of trauma-informed approaches, narrative therapy, harm reduction, experiential learning, intersectionality theory, art, mindfulness and sensory coping skills. She also is a community activist and advocate for social and economic justice.
